Directions:
From Kailua - Kona drive about 25
miles north on Hwy. 19. Turn left on
Mauna Lani drive, at the Mauna Lani
Resort. At the traffic roundabout,
bear right onto North Kaniku Drive.

Beach Park & Puako Petroglyph Park. |

This short often hot, hike through a dry
land kiawe forest leads to the Puako
Petroglyph field, one of the worlds largest
collections of prehistoric rock carvings.
NOTE: To get a really good look at the
petroglyphs near the middle of the main
enclosure, bring binoculars...... |
