Directions:
Head north of Kailua-Kona about 22
miles on Hwy. 19. Turn left on
Waikoloa Beach Drive, just before
mile marker 76. Drive .6 miles then
turn left on Kuualii Place, and park
in the Anaehoomalu Beach Park at the
end of the road. |

OVERVIEW |

This segment of the traditional circle
island trail links pre-contact and
contemporary Hawaii, passing through both
ancient settlement sites and gleaming modern
resorts. It hugs the North Kohala shoreline,
aka the Gold Coast, crossing beaches, rocky
