OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Located on the islands rainy Hamakua Coast,
the paved trail circles through a steamy
rainforest thick with azalea, gardenia,
hibiscus, ti leaf, tree ferns, ohia lehua,
bird of paradise, banana, and so many other
species you could fill the index of a
botanical field guide with them. This part
of the island is chock full of waterfalls,
and the trail takes you to two of them: 100
foot Kahuna Falls and 442 foot Akaka Falls........ |
