OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Located on the beautiful shores of
Anaeho'omalu Bay, the 4-Star Waikoloa Beach
Marriott Resort & Spa has completed an
extensive upgrade in excess of $50 million.
The exquisitely furnished rooms and suites,
the varied restaurants, the two 18-hole
Championship golf courses and the crowning
touches of the luxurious Mandara Spa and
Naupaka Ballroom add up to an unforgettable
experience for all guests.
Waikoloa Beach Marriott is situated on 17
acres of beachfront with a dramatic volcanic
landscape, on the spectacular Kohala coast.
Wander through fragrant tropical gardens,
ancient petroglyph fields, and a royal
fishpond once reserved only for kings.
Follow lava rock footpaths to mysterious
petroglyphs carved in stone or stroll the
warm sand that rims the Bay, perhaps
collecting shells.
Property amenities include the natural white
sand beach and sheltered bay that provides
the perfect playground for snorkeling,
kayaking, scuba diving, windsurfing, or
simply enjoying a romantic stroll in the
moonlight. There is a beautiful infinity
swimming pool with water cascades and
looping slide as well as a separate
children's pool with sand bottom. The
Waikoloa Beach Marriott's 18-hole
championship golf courses offer challenging
play and spectacular ocean views.
Other property amenities include a Jacuzzi
and whirlpool and the newly opened Mandara
Spa specializing in many Hawaiian treatments
and the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon
of pampering and luxury. There is also a new
state-of-the-art Fitness Center, parking
(fee), jogging/fitness trails and so much
more to enjoy.
There are a number of choices for dining at
the resort, including the newly redesigned
Hawaii Calls Restaurant, specializing in
seafood and featuring fresh Big Island
produce in both American and Pacific
Rim-style cuisine, open for breakfast and
dinner. Nalu's Bar & Grill is open for
lunch, located poolside and offers
sandwiches, salads and tropical drinks. The
Clipper Lounge is open for dinner and
features cocktails and light bistro fare
along with a large assortment of appetizers.
The Royal Hawaiian Luau is a wonderful
opportunity to experience the chants, music
and dance of Polynesia, along with a very
traditional Luau, held every Wednesday and
Sunday evening. And of course, this is the
Big Island, home to one of the world's most
well known and expensive coffee, so there is
the new Blue Sky Coffee Bar for delicious
cups of fresh roasted Kona coffee along with
snacks.
Waikoloa Beach Marriott is a nonsmoking
hotel and while there will be no smoking
within the building, including rooms, lanais
and public spaces, the resort will allow
smoking outside in special designated areas
to accommodate those guest who do smoke.
