OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The 4-star award-winning Hilton Waikoloa
Village is an extraordinary property located
on the Kohala Coast on 62 oceanfront acres.
There are 3 seven story towers, an air
conditioned Swiss Tram that can take you
around to your rooms, as well as beautiful
mahogany canal boats that also go to the
various towers, which is quite a nice way to
get around. Beautiful Asian and Polynesian
artwork are located throughout the buildings
and grounds and the lush, tropical gardens
include waterfalls, a rope bridge,
sculptures and even hammocks to loll in here
& there, and it's all simply breathtaking.
Add in the 4- acre salt water lagoon for
swimming and snorkeling and you might have
just found paradise.
There are three unique fresh water swimming
pools at the Hilton Waikoloa, including the
largest, the Kona Pool, with its very
dramatic waterfall. The Kohala River Pool is
perfect for children with its system of four
pools connected by water slides and a gently
flowing river. The Ocean Tower Pool is
exclusively adult-only, surrounded by lush
greenery and a perfect retreat for sunning,
swimming and even napping. Both the Kona and
Kohola Pool Bars also offer poolside menus
and snacks, besides tropical cocktails.
There is nothing quite like the salt water
ocean-fed lagoon located along a rocky
stretch of coastline. You'll see sea turtles
and hundreds of colorful reef fish when you
snorkle in the 4-acre lagoon, which is also
available for both swimming and boating.
You can choose from a number of restaurants
including two winners of Wine Spectator
Magazine's Award of Excellence.
Donatoni's is considered the most romantic
restaurant in the islands, serving wonderful
northern Italian Cuisine and the Kamuela
Provision Company features Hawaii Regional
cuisine with an emphasis on freshness, in a
beautiful setting overlooking the ocean.
Other dining spots include Imari, an
excellent Japanese restaurant; Lagoon Grill,
a casual spot overlooking the lagoon; Kirin
Chinese Restaurant; Palm Terrace serves a
lavish ala carte breakfast and buffet; the
Boat Landing Pavilion offers casual dining
and take-out; and, the Orchid Marketplace by
the Kona Pool is great for family-friendly
dining with take-out to eat by the pool.

seaside putting course (fee) and two
