The 3-star Aston Shores at Waikoloa on the
Big Island of Hawaii offers One and Two
Bedroom Suites and Golf Front Villas that
are surrounded by the Waikoloa Golf Club's
renowned Beach Course. The suites and villas
are three stories, designed with a
Mediterranean flair set among beautiful
gardens and lawns and fairways. This luxury
property has a gated entryway with secured
access and all guests have access to the
Waikoloa Resort area's many activities and
events. This is a nonsmoking property with a
two night minimum stay required. Like all
the islands, except Oahu, there is no public
transportation, so a car is a necessity for
any sightseeing.
At check-in, each family member ages 12
years and younger, receives an Aston Kids
Stay, Play & Eat Free ID card, lanyard and
flyer detailing participating establishments
and their offers for each island. They will
also receive a free beach ball and bottle of
Bubbles at the same time. Guests will also
receive two bottles of water upon arrival
and a Two for One free Luau certificate with
the purchase of one adult ticket and an
Aloha Book with hundreds of dollars savings
on dining, shopping, entertainment and golf,
one coupon booklet per room.
The property features a lovely pool complex
with a jet spa and barbeque grills and
picnic area and two complimentary tennis
courts, so don't forget your rackets. Other
property amenities include complimentary
parking near your suite, fitness equipment,
putting green, tour desk, complimentary
newspaper in lobby, and a guest activities
center that rents all sorts of water sport
equipment, including boogie boards, snorkel
sets and even kayaks. For a family friendly
beach, the Waikoloa Beach is just a short
drive away and has public parking.
There is no on-site dining, but just outside
the entry gates is the Beach Golf Course
clubhouse where the Beach Grill highlights
local fish, pasta and steaks. Open for lunch
and dinner and a late-night appetizer
selection. A few minutes drive away are the
King's Shops and upscale shopping center
that includes several restaurants.
Many visitors to the islands not only choose
a condominium over a hotel because they are
often less crowded and quieter, but you can
enjoy many of your meals "at home", whether
it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Think
dining outside on your lanai sipping on a
tropical beverage and watching the sun go
down. At the Aston Shores at Waikoloa, you
can even grill your own hamburgers or steaks
and enjoy an al fresco meal. Best of all,
you will save money and can use those
savings for a special excursion or a
romantic dinner for two. It does mean
driving in the opposite direction from your
condo from the airport as Costco, Wal-Mart
and Safeway Grocery are in the Kona area,
but it will be well worth the time in
savings for snacks, beverages and food to
stock that great kitchen.
This is a lovely property, well maintained
and if you love golf, it would be difficult
to find a more ideal place to stay. Set
amidst a beautiful golf course, yet only
minutes from a wonderful beach, it has
something for everyone. |
